1. Loughborough Grammar School – The Weitzel window

This window was commissioned by John Weitzel the retiring deputy head at Loughborough Grammar school.

The design came from looking at the existing diamond leaded lights in the school and the decorative brickwork in the buildings. The colours are based upon the school crest and all the details come from ideas and memories that John wanted to include in the window eg a hypercube and St Pauls cathedral.

A new frame was commissioned to house the triple glazed stained glass windows in the Queens building.
